Taxation

Taxation

General Overview.

We provide a tax planning service to our clients, assisting them through the maze of differing taxes and legislation. We aim to be proactive in this field by guiding our clients on tax matters prior to clients implementing actions which could have taxation implications. Such actions range from cost effective employee remuneration packages to long term financial planning.

Although we are a small practise we do not have any limitations on our taxation expertise due to the availability of external specialist consultants that we are able to call upon when necessary. This means that your tax affairs can be channelled through one person who can keep an overview of a clients affairs at all time.

We provide a tax return service for those clients, who may not operate a business but have various  sources of income necessitating the completion of an annual return.

Differing Taxes.

Their are many forms of taxation such as income tax, national insurance, VAT, corporation tax and many others. We are able to deal with all types of taxes.

Individuality.

Every client is treated separately. We would be engaged by that  client to look after their affairs only, and in strict confidence. For example a partners tax affairs could only be revealed to his partner(s) with his/her permission.  Partnerships are treated effectively as separate entities and together with limited companies advice would be given to 'the business'. Naturally there is an interaction between interested parties and any release of information would be by mutual consent.

Individual Taxation.

We provide a service to various individuals be they sole traders, a parter in a business, an employee in receipt of benefits, a company director, a pensioner with investments and many others in differing situations.

We would prepare their tax returns and give individual advice to each client.

Partnership and Limited Liability Partnership Taxation.

We would prepare a partnerships tax return and also give taxation advice to the partnership while maintaining an overview of the relevant partners positions.

Corporate Taxation.

A company is by its very nature an idividual entity. It will generally have employees who will be recieving emoluments which need to be taxed appropriately. ( Please see our payroll section for details on this subject.) The company or corporate group would be given advice on taxation pertinent to its situation.
